Assolutamente non ho detto quello.
Ho detto che e` il valore che viene usato dal tuo server per fare HELO verso i
server remoti; che poi questi inseriscano normalmente nell'header Received questa
informazione non e` cosa che possa decidere il tuo server, anche se di solito e`
cosi` per tutti gli MTA un po' normali.

            SMTP  server.   Default: me, if that is supplied; otherwise qmail-

            SMTP greeting message.  Default: me, if that is  supplied;  other-
            wise qmail-smtpd will refuse to run.  The first word of smtpgreet-
            ing should be the current host's name.

Direi che le manpage sono abbastanza chiare, e non vedo cosa ci sia di strano :)
